Walk your way to fitness!

Class Details

  • Group meets for 1.5 hours and participates in a fitness walking session targeted at improving aerobic fitness to keep our hearts and lungs working effectively
  • Class finishes with gentle stretches to prevent fatigued, sore muscles
  • After class, we go for coffee and chat on the chosen Health topic" of the week

toneFIT

Tone up - build lean muscle, strong bones, increase your metabolism and burn more fat!

Class Details

  • Group meets for 1 hour and participates in resistance exercises targeted at toning and strengthening the abdomen, back, legs and arms
  • Class finishes with appropriate stretching to prevent fatigued muscles and to relax previously worked out muscle groups

The Benefits

  • Build more muscle and therefore burn more fat when exercising and during the day
  • Improve your core strength (abdominals, lower back) - you will feel the difference !
  • Reduce your risk of developing osteoporosis
  • Reduce your risk of developing back, in particular, lower back problems

Stretch and unwind ! See Photos

Class Details

  • Group meets for 1 hour and participates in a
    stretching session targeted at improving mobility
    and flexibility effectively
  • Class concludes with 10 minutes of relaxation and breathing
